Commission artwork for
  This is her original character Alasta.Alasta is usually a more cheerful girl on the outside, but I chose to show a more sensitive side. She deals with time travel, and had lost her memory, hence the compass and the clock. Symbolizing her outward struggles with finding a direction as well as inside. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I did say I liked your colouring style though... And I like the use of texture on her hair... Same can't be said for the background texture, you could have picked a better one. I like the way her hair trails off into this patterns. Youcould have done it more, actually...
I don't see any steampunk though. The metalwork is Ok but the lone gear is really wonky, and it actually interferes with the... rather lackluster profile of the woman. My favourite bit is that metalwork, tbh.

Hey, I've never actually drawn steampunk before. So this is just a little experiment with gears, clockworks and stuff. I think steampunk isn't my thing, but we'll see, maybe I will try another attempt in the future. Besides, there's already art noveau too in the artwork, I don't want to make it too complicated.
